outlook express

I use outlook express to get my hotmail messages. I have
updated my windows xp with service pack 1

Now my outlook express is giving me message that
says "unable to open the address book.The address book
may not be properly installed." I've reinstalled
Outlook Express but it still does not work.

I found in the knowledge base how to fix this for windows
98 but I need to know how to fix for windows XP.
