For some unknown reason some of my incoming mail goes directly to the
"Deleted Items" box. The items that by-pass the "Inbox" are shown in red
colored type in my Deleted Items. The junk mail being diverted I don't mind,
but there is one business contact that is important to me that always gets
diverted. What do I need to do to get my important contacts mail to go to my
Inbox?

Getting desperate...

You have posted this message to the wrong news group.
The access in this newsgroup's title refers to Microsoft Access, a
database product.
I would suggest you post to the appropriate Outlook Express newsgroup.
Make sure you specify which OE version you are using.

Don't know if you understand "Message Rules" Depending on how many contacts
there are, if you go into RULES and follow the various options, you can set
where messages go to.
eg When you get the option, "Where the FROM line contains people", set it to
by putting part of the sender's address in (i.e. if it was me you would
enter McCann)
Then the next box will ask you where to put it and you choose the folder.
Why not create a "Business Contacts" folder and send them there.

Hope this is clear. If not, come back and I will take you through it step by
step.
