Hey-I received three different replys from "Microsoft
Technical Services" with information re: "October 2003,
Cumulative Patch". But, one of the attachments sent
contained a virus! What's going on?

Immediately stop using your real email address in here. Programs are harvesting
them, at best for spam, at worst to send you virus/worms like the one you got.
