Occasionally I get emails in which the sender uses various hard to read
fonts (at least to me). What can I do to change all incoming emails to a
font and size that makes it clearer to me.

Click on Edit,
Click on SELECT ALL
Click on VIEW
Click on Text Size
It can be incresed, but you can't change font.

If you have Outlook [part of Office] then it is possible to also change font
