Outlook Express works except will not Receive Mail

First off I am a computer dummy with the technical stuff so please use simple
language and step by step. I returned from vacation to find that I could not
receive my e-mails. I can send and do anything else just not receive as this
error comes up - An unknown error has occured,
Account,'pop.cogeco.ca',Server:'pop.cogeco.ca',Protocol:pop3,Port:110,Secure(SSL):No,Error Number 0x800c0133
Help!

Thanks for the info. I went to the site and tried the Resolution which was
to look for and rename the Folders.dbx. file but the search couldn't find it.
What now? It didn't say what to do if the file was missing. Thanks for any
further help. C

It's a hidden file. You need to go to Advanced settings in your search and
enable hidden files.

Thanks for the reply. Just tried advanced setting, clicked sub files, case
sensitive and slow files and nothing was found. Where was nothing that
mentioned hidden files to click on. Any other ideas?

If you click on Search-All Files and Folders and then on More Advanced
Options the second option from the top is "Search Hidden Files and Folders"

Gordon: Is that through Start, Search Files or Folders? Can't locate More
advanced settings there, just what I wrote below. I have Office 2000 . Told
you I was a dummy at all this. Really appreciate your help though. Connie
