Outlook Express Won't Open

Unable to open Outlook Express.
Error Message:

msimn.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows.

Have exhausted all know fixes published on Microsoft and
have reinstalled Office 2000 Professional to no avail.
All other applications operate normally as well as Outlook.

Does anyone have a suggestion short of reinstallation of
the operating system?

Have you tried reinstalling IE6/OE6? Search your hard drive(s)
for ie6setup.exe and reinstall.

It is hard to tell what is crashing Outlook Express without debugging the
User.dmp it creates, but you might want to try running 'SFC /scannow' to
have the system scan files and verify that no system files are missing or
corrupt.
