Outlook express wont download emails

Im usin outlook express on win ME, whenever it goes to get the messages, itll
say recieving message 1 out of ___, but then it will say the connection was
terminated. I know its connecting, as it was at 7, and then went to 8 when I
sent my ISP address an email from my hotmail, but is there anything that can
possibly be wrong?

This newsgroup is for support of Outlook
97/98/2000/2002/2003 from the Office suite of products. Outlook
Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.
