Help, can't get outlook express to mail when used as default mailer!

Hi, I can send and recieve mail when I have doen it within outlook
express but if I click on a link to email someone it doesn't work!
The dialog box of outlook express comes up and I fill in the email
address but it never goes! I get no error message saying anythig is
wrong! Once again I can email using "create new mail" from within
outlook express but no mail is sent out when it is used as the default
emailer, thanks

Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer. Outlook is part of Microsoft
