Outlook Express -v.6

I have ben unable to find an Outlook Express Newsgroup, so I hope it's okay
posting here.

Every so often (once or twice a week) when I launch OE it hangs my PC. If I
wait for ever, it will suddenly open, or if I try another programme, the
other programme fails to open but after a few seconds OE opens. The problem
is recent and may have something to do with patches or hotfixes. Sending and
receiving mail is not affected.

I'm running version 6.0 on Windows XP Home.

Can anyone help?

Hi Ed,

This is generally the behavior caused from disabling Messenger, if this is
the case, this script resolves both issues.

Disable/Remove Windows Messenger
