Outlook Express shuts down

Hi. My outlook express program keeps shutting down when I
try to open mail with attachments, or when I open my
address book, or try to forward mail. I get a message
window the says "Outlook Express has encountered a
problem and must now close. We are sorry for any
inconvenience. Please send an error report."
Any suggestions on what I can do?
Can I uninstall OUtlook Express and reinstall it? If so,
how?
