Outlook Express removing emails with zipped files attached

Any ideas how I fix OE so that it does not persistently
does not remove emails that have zipped files attached;
both sending and receiving.

Tools > Options > Security [tab]
Clear the checkbox relating to attachments, under "Virus Protection"
