outlook express problems

Please help! My wife and I have an account with cox
communications, and we have email through express.
Sometimes when we change identities throughout the day,
the outlook express window will not open up, and the only
way to view email again is to restart our computer. What
could be causing this problem? Thanks.
 
When was the last time you visited the Windows Update website
and downloaded all the available critical updates? Your issue
was corrected a long time ago with an update!
