Outlook Express prevents viewing of email attachments

I have Windows ME and lately when receiving emails w/photo
attachments that I want to open, I get the message: OE
removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your
mail: lists ZIP attachment, or whatever. I used to be
able to open these and can't find any way to cancel it.
Can anyone give me some ideas? Thanks.

Sharon,
From OE> Tools> Options> Security uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be
saved..."
