Outlook Express > Outlook

A user setup Outlook Express on her computer. I came over
and installed Outlook 2000 but now we can't get it to work
with our exchange server because when you go into Mail in
Control Panel you see that it's still setup like Outlook
Express.

How do you get Outlook to be your default email client
rather than Outlook Express?

Did you install it in Internet Only Mode? If so, in Tools>Options>Mail
Setup, you can convert to Corporate/Workgroup mode, which you'll need to
connect to an Exchange server.

Control Panel>Internet Options>Program>E-mail. Set the drop-down to
"Microsoft Office Outlook".
