Outlook Express opens but does not respond

Outlook Express opens, but does not respond - other times it opens and I get
an error message that OE must shut down. Often it takes 3 attepmts to get
the program to work.
I have two computers w/XP and both do the same thing. The programs always
sends an error report to MicroSoft - but I still have the problem.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
