Have been using Outlook Express for a number of years no problem. However,
lately it has been acting up. I suspect I may have a virus, but don't know
how to fix the problem.
When my computer first starts, I can start up Outlook Express as usual.
However, if I exit Outlook Express, and then try to re-start it, I cannot. I
get no error message--simply NOTHING happens. I have to re-boot the computer
to get back into Outlook Express.
Help!? What do I have to do to fix this problem?
My Computer runs Windows 2000.
All the latest Windows updates have been downloaded and installed.
Have Symantec's Norton Anti-virus 2005, and have downloaded and installed
all the latest anti-virus definitions. A scan of my computer found four
adware products (that were automatically removed), but the problem has not
gone away.
What else can I do?
