Outlook 2000 needs Outlook express

I use Outlook 2000. whenever i start it, it gives me an error & say Outlook
needs Outlook Express 4.**, download IE 4** to install.

Unfortunately, I can't find Outlook express. And I can't install IE 4+
because i already have IE 8+ on my computer. Is there a way to get Outlook
Express ver. 4 or higher stand alone? W/ Windows XP, you can add or remove
Windows components w/c list Outlook Express. W/ Vista, I can't find that
option to add or remove windows compoents.

Vista doesn't support Outlook 2000. You can try using it in
Corporate/Workgroup mode to see if that works, but otherwise you'll have to
go to Office 2003 or newer or switch to Windows Live Mail.
