Outlook Express (News Reader) Name??

Joseph Meehan

I have Outlook 2002 and use it for my newsreader as well. Yea I know,
but I have tried a number of third party programs and have not liked them
for the way I work.

Anyone know what the file name of Outlook Express, the program Outlook
appears to be using for a news reader, is and where the default location may
be for XP Home.

Thanks

msinm.exe - it's under program files... use search or check the properties
of the shortcut on the start menu.

Don't know about the default location but the filename should be msimn.exe.
(It used to be called "Microsoft Internet Mail & News" before the
unfortunate decision to rename it to "Outlook Express.")

It's probably located in C:\Program Files\Outlook Express.
