outlook express issue

Hi all. When i open an attachment directly from my email message in outlook
express my pc would hang. However if i were to save it to desktop and open
from desktop, everything is fine. Why is this so. Is there any repair i can
do to my outlook express? I have run sfc /scannow but to no avail. Thks in
advance.

Delete the temporary internet files.
In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Delete files.
