When I click on hyperlinks in my emails, Internet
Expolorer sends a message that it cannot find the server.
If I copy the link and paste it into the browser, it
works. But frankly the links should work when I click
them. Any suggestions would be great. I'm running Windows
XP and I have a cable internet hookup (no dial up).
Thanks
Bruce

If you click a link and it either doesn't come up, or you
get an empty browser window with no connection, there are
two common possibilities.
If you have a pop-up stopper, this can interfere with a
browser window coming up, especially if you already have
one open.
Now, in your browser, you should make sure that you have
IE set as your default browser.
To do this, start Internet Explorer then go to View /
Internet Options and select the "Programs" tab.
Make sure the message "Internet Explorer should check to
see whether it is the default browser" is selected. If
not, then check it.
Press OK and close Internet Explorer. Now the link in
your email should bring up a website
