Outlook Express Help

I seem to only be able to use Times New Roman in Outlook Express, I am not
sure what has changed. I looked at my defaults and they are set to use my
desired font, I have set them even to use Arial but still it will always
change back to Times New Roman when I start to type. Even when I typw
something and then select it and try to change font that way, still it will
not change. Does anyone have a solution here that I seem to be ingoring ?
keep in mind that I have checked my settings and no matter what I set then
to, it still always says Times New Roman when I go to type anything.
