Outlook Express files

I am aware that Outlook Express files are filed as .dbx
files. My problem is that I have saved these files in the
past as a part of my small consultant work. I would like
to be able to open them but can find no application that
will open anything but the current files (MS Outlook
Express). I Have saved these files on a CD. Can anyone
give me some suggestions. I will greatly appreciate it.
OS-Windows XP Pro all updates applied. 512 MB RAM

For help with your OE questions, try an OE newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress (for OE 6), or
an OE help website such as http://insideOE.tomsterdam.com. If you're
accessing the Microsoft newsgroups through the MS Product Support
Services "Community Newsgroups" web interface, click
http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?
icp=InternetExplorer
to get to the Internet Explorer groups, then click the plus sign next to
your version of IE to see the link to the Outlook Express group for that
version number. Good luck!

On my OE6 the entire thread is displayed in the order posted.

That must be some type of view option because I've seen that happen many
times in the past with replies that I make. I use OE6 but I see your
response as a reply to rifleman,as he did, and not to Tom.

Except by using a third-party application, DBX files cannot be "opened"
outside of an OE Identity. To be able to access all the messages contained
in a DBX file you'll need to import the file into an OE Identity.
