I hope I am in the correct Discussion Group as I could find nothing about an
Outlook Express group.
I have a friend that I sent an email with embedded pictures. He opened it
with no problems. He then forwarded it on to one of his friends and he
responded back with "[Only the first part of this message is displayed. The
entire message has been turned into a text attachment, which you can retrieve
by selecting Download. Once downloaded, open it with a word processor or text
editor for reading.]
Jack, sorry, but I'm not able to open this kind of message. You've sent
these before where they say to open with a word processor or text editor. I
don't know what that means nor do I apparently have that kind of equipment.
In any event, there's no way I can open them.
As I am supposed to know what I am doing (I have everyone fooled) he dumped
the problem back in my lap. I sent the email directly to Jack's friend and he
was able to open and view with no issues; which leads me to believe the
problem is with Jack's computer not his friends. I am at a loss as to what
could be the issue. Jack has an older computer but is using WinXP.
Any help would be appreciated.
