Hi All,
I am having trouble with Outlook Express .
Today i configured Outlook express at my home pc to
access my office mails. At office i use Outlook 2000 .

wehn I hit send/recv on my outlook express (at home), It
delets all my mails from outlook 2000 Inbox (at office).

In brief when i use outlook express to access my mails ,
it moves all the mails from my outlook 2000 Inbox and
delets them.

Please help me on the following:
1)how to recover my mails in outlook 2000 , i can not do
the same from Recover deleted mail.
2)what settings on outlook express will i need to do to
avoid moving my mails from outlook 2000.

Yes, that's the expected default behavior.

You may try reg hack (DumpsterAlwaysOn) to recover deleted messages from
Inbox. Keep in mind that Deleted Items Retention (on Exchange server) must
have been set to some number of days and it has not expired. If not, you can
not recover the deleted Inbox items. Take a look at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;178630
When you're done adding the registry entry, run OL2000 and click Tools -
Recover Deleted Items (this option is now enabled no matter which folder you
select).
If you don't see any recoverable messages, chances are your Deleted Item
Retention has passed or it was never enabled. If that's the case, your other
option is to export the messages out of your (home) OL Express to a personal
folder (PST). Take that PST to your office and import it back to OL2000
Inbox at the office.
2)what settings on outlook express will i need to do to
avoid moving my mails from outlook 2000.

Run OL Express, click Tools - Account - Mail (tab), highlight your office
mail server account, click Properties button. Then click Advanced tab and
select "Leave copy of messages on server" under Delivery.
