Make sure you have the latest servicepac updates for OE. There was a recent
update to OE if i'm not mistaken. Next would be to double click the clock
int the taskbar, select Time Zone tab and verify the correct time zone is
set. Then open the Internet time tab and sync with internet time server, The
Windows Time service needs to be running for this to work and you firwall
needs to allow the connection. At this point I would reboot and fire off a
test e-mail to myself to check the time stamp. If there is still a
discrepency between AM and PM as you stated I would reboot and open the
CMOS, or Access the BIOS to confirm that the time is set correctly there. If
the time was incorrect, set it and reboot, fire off another test e-mail. If
there is still an error I would back up any thing I wanted to save from
outlook to a seperate folder and remove OE via the "add/remove programs,
add/remove windows components", uncheck OE in the windows components wizard
and continue with the wizard. Then I would reboot and run a registry
cleaner/obsolete file remover or manually remove OE files(be carefull with
that), reboot, then reinstall OE and visit windows update.
