outlook express blocking attachments

Outlook express is automatically blocking attachments to
e-mails I receive from family and friends, when I know
the attachments are safe. How do I override this?

Click on TOOLS/OPTIONS/SECURITY and uncheck the box which says 'Do not allow
attachments......

The other post in this thread has told you how to resolve the issue. Please
note, you never know an attachment is safe until you've scanned it for
viruses. Most viruses are sent unwittingly from relatives, friends and
other people we know. Once they are infected, the virus usually tries to
replicate itself by sending itself to every person in the infected person's
address book.

Hence, once you turn the attachment feature on again, it's a good idea to
save any attachments to another folder when they arrive and scan it for
viruses before opening.
