I have a problem that I am finding hard to remedy. My
wife uses outlook express because she likes the simple
interface. She has long forgotten her password and her e-
mail has been stacking up for months. How do I negate the
password so she can retrieve her mail? Secondly, one day
out of the blue a telnet screen pops up at start up I use
broadband connections is this proper?
Can anyone help?

Without the correct password (that allows you to download the e-mail from
the ISP's server, you ARE NOT going to be able to access those messages.

Suggest you ask wife for password so you can read her e-mail!
