Outlook Express 6 Spellchecker

I have Outlook Express 6 configured to run a spellcheck on all outgoing
emails. However, despite the right boxes being ticked, it does not
spell check the message. Has anyone else come across this before and
can it be easily rectified? Thanks, S.

OE uses the spellchecker from MSOffice IIRC ..which version do you have
installed ?

copy csapi3t1.dll to "c:\program files\common files\microsoft
shared\proof\" is the fix if you are using Office 97

Outlook Express has no spellchecker of its own. If MS Office is
installed, it will use the spellchecker from Office. If you don't have
Office installed, that is why you aren't getting a spellcheck in OE.
