Outlook Express 6 Receiving Multiple Messages

I have an XP operating system with Outlook Express 6. I have tried to
receive messages but each time I do it receives the same 130 messages.
I can delete the messages that I recieve and delete the deleted box and
the same messages still come in. I have disabled the option to
send/receive at startup. I have also deleted the pop3uidl.dbx file and
it still does the same thing. I have NO idea what to do from here.
Can anyone please help???

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
