Due to an antivirus program upgrade, it became necessary to install Windows
XP Service Pack 1. This was followed the following day by a large number of
Windows Updates for SP1.
Now, when sending/receiving messages, Outlook Express 6 pauses indefinitely
trying to connect. If I close OE6, MSIMN.EXE is still running in the
Processes list in Windows Task Manager and it is impossible to end this
process. It is also impossible to start OE6 again.
I have an HP Pavilion ze4120s running XP Home edition. OE6 was working fine
until the Windows Updates for SP1 were installed. Any ideas?
