outlook express 6.0

When I click send/receive while downloading emails from my server, I get an
indication, for example, "receiving message 6 of 13" (or similar progress
indication). However, when the download is complete, I find 8 messages in my
inbox, and 2 messages in my anti-spam folder. What happened to the other 3?
(the numbers vary, but the result is the same, some emails always seem to
disappear.

Wrong newsgroup. This one discusses Outlook. Post in a newsgroup that
discusses Outlook EXPRESS (as you state in your Subject line is the
e-mail client in question).

Thanks, but the reply doesn't help. The options on the Office Online
includes only Outlook, nothing for outlook express. Where might the OE
newsgroup be found? (by the way, the search results show lots of hits for OE
were they all rejected?

Correct, since OE doesn't belong to Office but to IE and Windows.

Pretty much since they are all off-topic here and you'll probably can get a
better answer in the correct newsgroup where the people are actually using
the application and calling it their expertise. That's not here.
