Outlook Express 6.0

I'm not certain, but I may have deleted all my sent items in the sent items
folder thinking it was the deleted folder.

Note: I also have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003, which may have
caused the issue.

My question is, can my sent items be recovered once they have been
permenantly deleted?
