With which email program? Outlook Express won't run under Vista.

If it's Windows Mail, the server response part of that message suggests
that the server won't accept the MIME and None combination now
often used for email.

More important, though, is that in order to use Windows Mail to
connect to yahoo.com, you either have to use a paid Yahoo account
or install a format converter.

Is your Yahoo account a free US-based one? If so, it doesn't have POP access.

First, don't post your real email address in a newsgroup like this.
It will be picked up by spammers.

Secondly, always start a new topic (thread) when posting a new issue.
The title of this thread, "outlook expres" does not fit your issue.

Ask foothills.net where to find their instructions for connecting to their
mail servers. They don't seem to have them on their web site.

Also, if you get any error messages when trying to send, right click
on them and copy the entire error messages to your next message.
