After I run and then close Microsoft Outlook the
executable does not close. In other words, OUTLOOK.EXE
still appears in the Processes tab in the Task Manager.
Because of this, I am unable to re-open Outlook. What do
I do?

Highlight OUTLOOK.EXE in the processes tab and click END PROCESS?

This happens to me ocassionally. I reboot and everything is fine
again. Have you tried rebooting?
