Outlook.exe not Closing

Hello,

Has anyone had issues with the outlook.exe and mapisp32
process staying open after closing outlook 2000. The
small dialog box stating that outlook is shutting down
stays on the screen until these processes are ended
manually. A repair of office has not corrected this
behavior and the user ends up with several instances of
outlook running by the end of the day. Any suggestions
would be appreciated.

Try running the Inbox Repair Tool. I had a similar problem when I had a
damaged Outlook.pst file.

Found my answer back in another posting. If you are
seeing similar issues, go to the run command and type in
OUTLOOK.EXE /CLEANFREEBUSY <- this will take care of the
issue. Thanks to Randy for his posting on 12/30/03
