Outlook.exe doesn't close all the way

My situation is my Outlook 2000 won't shut down all the
way. After closing Outlook taskmanager does not show the
application running but when I check the processes
Outlook.exe is still running.

I've tried all the tips in an article I found in on the
web titled: MS Outlook Start Up and Shut Down Problems.
This did not solve the problem.

Any hints would be appreciated. I also used the Office
2000 premium repair tool and that didn't solve the
problem either.

I've experienced exactly same problem.
There must be a bug in Outlook.
Using Exit from the File menu instead of Close will solve the problem.
Using Close also affects a Norton AntiSpam installation. It siply stops
working. Using Exit will also solve this problem.
