Outlook error message

Anna

I've recently started using outlook 2003 and although I
can receive emails fine, I get this message when I try
and send them. Does anyone know what I've done wrong to
get this?

Task 'pop.freeserve.com- Sending' reported error
(0x800CCC65) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has
reported an internal error. If you continue to receive
this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded:
503 valid rcpt command must precede DATA'

Hi Anna

It looks to me like your pop server is either down or
that your mail isn't configured properly. I would check
and make sure that the name of the server is correct,
maybe call you provider.
