Outlook Error Message

Dick B.

I've just purchased a new Vista based computer changing over from XP. I
transferred the files from the old to the new, reinstalled my MSN account and
then my Office 2007 program. I now get the following message when opening
Outlook:

Cannot open your default email folders. Outlook exited without properly
closingn your outlook data profile.
C:\users\myname\appdata\local\microsoft\outloooutlook.ast. MSO must be
restarted.

I'm not aware of having changed or moved any of my Outlookn files so I'm
perplexed...any ideas?

Apparently you didn't transfer the Outlook files correctly. See this:
