Outlook Email Notification

When I get a new email message a small yellow envelope
appears in my systray.

Is there a way to turn this feature off?

Any help will greatly appreciated.

For Outlook 2000,
Click Tools, options, preferences, email options button, uncheck the mail
notification option.

I tried what you suggested but it didn't seem to work.
The yellow envelope still appears in the system tray?!?

The option you selected is for a message that appears in
a separate pop up window.

Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
