Outlook email address is unrecognizable

My email address: (e-mail address removed) goes out to recipients as:
********************@ms-smtp-01-eri0.southeast.rr.com. Therefore I do not
receive any email back unless they know me and type in my correct email
address. I use Outlook 2003. The same happens in Outlook Express. I have
deleted my email account, uninstalled both Outlooks, restored my email
account and reinstalled both Outlooks and the same thing happens. My email
is replaced with the above
(********************@ms-smtp-01-eri0.southeast.rr.com). Time Warner Road
Runner says it is a Microsoft problem. Does anybody know how to remedy this?
FYI: I put those dashes after jb to cover up my exact address.

outlook uses hte address you have set up in your account - it doesn't change
it. Something at RR is changing it.

Could you send a message to my email address so I can see the full header?

Outlook renames email address with ############
I installled my account on another system and it works fine. Is there a
hidden file corrupting my email account name?

I don't know of any file that would change it.

Since I keep all of my data files, including .pst and other critical files in
2 different backup locations, I reinstalled windows from a Ghost backup and
reinstalled my email accounts. Guess what? It works fine now. I don't know
what file became corrupted and evidently Microsoft doesn't either because
they would not answer my requests for help on this matter.

Thanks for any help Diane, I will still buy your book.
