Outlook driving me mad - running so slow

Hi Running Vista Business, with Outlook 2007. Clean install - 2 weeks old.
Outlook is driving me mad because when i create an email I am typing faster
than the characters are appearing on the screen.

Anyone any ideas please.

Using the default HTML format as your message format? Have you checked IE's restricted sites to see how many (thousands) sites have been added? Try reducing this number.
