Outlook distribution list for FAX

A

Art

Windows XP world with SP1 installed. I built a
Distribution List containing 12 names in Outlook. I Print
a Word document to FAX which starts the FAX console. On
the second screen I select Address Book and choose the
distribution list I created. After the last step which
is 'Final' the FAX console stops functioning and
just 'goes away'. If I limit the distribution list to no
more than two names it works just fine. Any ideas?

The Fax Wizard works fine with Outlook here. Can't repro your problem.

Well, that is a work-around. Not sure why I should have
to go to significant effort to find a way to bypass the
software in order to do what the software is advertised to
do. The FAX Wizard does not work with Outlook. It only
takes the bottom two names from the distribution list.
Has anyone in the support group tried this? It may be a
problem worth logging.

Odd, but certainly not impossible with Windows XP Fax. If you create a new
DL from scratch, does it behave the same way?

Thanks for trying. It still drops all but the bottom two
names from my distribution list. Works fine if I enter
each name individually. Oh well.
