Outlook disconnets

Outlook disconnects as soon as it puts our e-mail on the
server. We have to go back to SBCglobal.net and start it
up again before it connects - then it sends mail and
disconnect once agagin. This happens in a matter of
seconds! It never used to do this. Can you please tell
us what is wrong? We can get on the internet as long as
we don't go to Outlook first? Thank you so much. Stephen

No answer is possible until you specify your Outlook version, mail account
type, connection type, and automatic polling (Send/Receive) settings.
