Outlook Deletes my other Emails from Server

That may not make sense. Here's my problem. I have Mozilla Firefox as my
main email program using Earthlink. When I set up Outlook in MS Office 2007
to read/send mail, it deletes all my inbox messages in Firefox.
How can I stop this from occurring. I want to leave them on Firefox with
Earthlink. I've hunted all around on Outlook but can't see any place that
this is an option to check or uncheck. I did find where I could check to
delete when I close but that is "not" checked.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
