Outlook default view for archived folders?

How do I set up a custom default view for archived folders? Every time I open
a "sent" folder in an archive, the default view has "From" and "Received"
instead of "To" and "Sent". I have to change this every time using the
customize menu.
 
Views should work in an archive file just as they do in any other .PST file.
You should be able to set the view on the Sent folder in the archive file to
"Sent To" -- use the Advanced toolbar in Outlook to see the Views box and
choose Sent To from there. The view shouldn't change unless you manually
change it, even if you close and reopen the archive file.
