OUTLOOK DATABASE FILE

I HAVE AN ARCHIVE FILE( FROM OUTLOOK DATABASE FILE.PST) SAVED ON EXTERNAL
HARDWARE.I CAN NOT RETRIEVE IT WITH WINDOW XP PROGRAMS.
CAN SOMEONE HELP?
 
are you trying to copy it to your computer or trying to open it with some
other program? You need Outlook to view the contents of the file.
