Outlook damaging Acrobat PDF

Outlook is somehow stripping out some data, thus damaging the PDF.

I can send a good file if the PDF is contained in a zipped folder. This is a
workaround, but not a long term solution.

If I send an 8K PDF to myself, I receive a 6K PDF back. Obviously, something
is getting chopped off in the file. When I try opening the file, I get the
error: There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and
could not be opened.

Outlook 98 had problems with MIME or UUEncode (one or the other)

Somehow Outlook is changing the file. Anybody know what it's doing?

Thanks.

What message format are you using? Are anti-virus solutions also scanning
the file?

Thanks for your reply.

Norton Antivirus scans it.

I tried HTML (default), RTF and Plain Text. It happens in all formats.
