Outlook Customise Appearance : Compose Message "From, To, Subject"

Hi,

I have an issue I don't know how to resolve.
Using Outlook 2003 I am able to customise views so that the font is bigger
and set system properties so that general menu items and button bar are in a
slightly bigger font, but when composing a message the "To, cc, Subject"
these remain in Tahoma 8pt.
I want/need them in something around, 10, 12 pt. I know this can be don't
but can't remember how to do it.

Can anyone assist me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

After some research and tests, I found that you can change the font of
message header in Inbox or any other folders so that the characters look
more large in size. However, when you edit an e-mail message, there is no
way to change the font in To, Cc, and Subject field. You may need an third
party add-in to achieve this goal.

To change the font of message header in Inbox, please follow the steps
below:

1. Click View>Arrange By>Current View>Customize Current View
2. In Customize View: Messages dialogue box, click Other Settings.
3. Click Column Font and Row Font to change the font size as you want.

Now all the font size of message headers within Inbox will be displayed as
you set.

In the case that our product cannot totally meet your needs, I would like
to say sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and will forward this
idea to our dev team.

If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.

Leon,

Thank you for your efforts, It would seem that people of a certain
age/visual imparement would like to have this changed and you have confirmed
what I thought. As I've not been able to change this part. I have already
done the Customize View settings and changed the system settings so that
outlook menu/toolbar/folder view are all larger/coloured etc... But the
compose message stays the same for to/cc/subject etc..

The idea that you need to pass over to the dev team, I think, because the
visual imparement "solution" as is - is not customiseable/refinable enough.

Thanks

Ian
