outlook contacts

How do I sync just certain contacts and not all to my windows based phone?

Some sync apps allow synching only certain categories. In that case, you can
categories those contacts you wantr synched and synch only that category.
ActiveSync, for example, allows this. You'll have to read the docs for your
particular sync software. Outlook has no setting that control the sync
process it is controlled completely within the sync application.
