Outlook Connector not working with multiple accounts

Hi all,

I am running Outlook2007 under Vista Business. Recently I migrated my
mail domain to Windows Live Domains and set up 6 Windows Live accounts
which are all working fine from a web point of view.
I then installed the latest Outlook Connector to download all 6
accounts into Outlook, but only 3 of the accounts are syncing - the
other three all just display a "connecting" message in the Outlook
Connector server status.

I have tried rebooting, setting up the accounts in different orders,
and even leaving it for a few days to have an opportunity to sync but
so far nothing has worked. I have tested the non-working accounts with
Windows Live Mail Desktop version and they work there, just not with
Outlook2007.

Has anyone encountered this, or have any suggestions?

try a second profile with the ones that failed - its possible the connector
can only handle 3. you could also try different send and receive groups for
the connector accts -split them so they check at different times, not all at
once.

I have tried a new profile and set up one of the accounts that was not
working, unfortunately this has not worked (I did close Outlook on the
other profile so as not to conflict).
If anyone else has an idea it would be appreciated.

this is a office live acct that should be provisioned for the connector upon
creation, correct?

They are standard Windows Live Hotmail accounts which were all set up
through Windows Live Domains at the same time.

Hi there,

I'm having the same problem as Gavin. I've set up a few different WL
accounts through custom domains. I'd like to get all of them working through
Outlook and the Outlook connector.

However only one of them works. When I add the others they don't connect
correctly. When I click on server status it says 'connecting...' It doesn't
even give me the error about calendar not being supported.

I've tried reinstalling Outlook, and then adding a different account as the
first account. That doesn't work either. I can only ever get that one
account to work, no matter the order in which I've added them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are they live mail accts? if they are older accts, did you convert them to
live mail accounts?

Hey folks,

It seems like I've found the solution - you need to make sure that both your
first name and last name are filled out in your profile. Then the outlook
connector will work correctly if you're having the issue below.
